Identical tyrant twins

courtesy of Kevin TumaFor years now the Republican party and its various advocates have been loudly alleging that the Democratic party is nothing but a prettied-up version of communism, intent on regulating, monitoring, and controlling everything and everyone, rendering us helpless and defenseless, using blatant propaganda disguised as “reporting” to instill their collectivist ideologies into the minds of all Americans, using fear-mongering to trick people into supporting ever-increasing government powers and ever-decreasing individual liberties. These Democrats, the Republicans tell us, are liars, thieves, and care about nothing but their own power.

For years now the Democratic party and its various advocates have been loudly alleging that the Republican party is nothing but a prettied-up version of fascism, intent on regulating, monitoring, and controlling everything and everyone, rendering us helpless and defenseless, using blatant propaganda disguised as “reporting” to instill their collectivist ideologies into the minds of all Americans, using fear-mongering to trick people into supporting ever-increasing government powers and ever-decreasing individual liberties. These Republicans, the Democrats tell us, are liars, thieves, and care about nothing but their own power.

Both sets of accusations are perfectly accurate. The only thing I’d add is that communism and fascism amount to the same thing: the state owns/controls everything, and every individual is subjugated to the will of the collective. The fact that most Americans think that the two faces of the ONE ruling class are drastically different–or even slightly different–shows just how well the statist propaganda has worked.

If it wasn’t so scary, this upcoming election would be hilarious. We have two war-mongering, collectivist, god-complex pathological liars fighting over who gets to rule the world, and all the stupid electorate (both parties) has to say is, “Well YOUR guy is even WORSE!” Actually, neither is worse. Complete domination–the obvious goal of Obama AND McCain– is as bad as it gets. It’s impossible for anyone to be worse than Obama OR McCain. It’s like arguing over who gets to murder you: either way, you’ll be just as dead.

So why is it that so many people are stupid enough to support Obama, and so many are stupid enough to support McCain? Because, after years of indoctrination, they have been trained to think that the only two possible political viewpoints are “The Republicans should rule us all” and “The Democrats should rule us all.” So they partake in the never-ending, profoundly insane ritual of debating over WHICH of the two identical megalomaniacal twins should be given unlimited power over all of us. And then they are stunned when the results aren’t good.

I think it’s great how many books, web sites, and other forms of media expose McCain as a lying, crooked, power-happy, mentally unstable moron. I also think it’s great how many books, web sites, and other forms of media expose Obama as a lying, crooked, power- happy, mentally unstable moron. What’s sad is that hardly ever will you see the SAME video, or book, or article, pointing out that BOTH of them are like that. Instead, the implied message is always, “Look how bad THEIR guy is… so vote for our guy!”

It’s also a little bit funny how much people focus on election fraud, as if it matters. When the choices are Hitler and Stalin, WHO CARES who wins? Do people really think that Al Gore or John Kerry–two more lying, crooked, power-happy, mentally unstable morons–would have been any better than Fuhrer Bush? Keep in mind that swell anti-Republican Bill Clinton did quite a bit of war- mongering, constitution-shredding, spying, regulating and taxing too. Anyone remember the mass torture and slaughter at Waco? Is that the sort of caring, compassionate, liberal party that will save us from the neo-cons?

If you want to make a positive difference, forget voting. Whatever the tyrants say you should do, do the opposite. McCain and Obama complain about “personal attacks” and “uncivil discourse.” So go talk about what a bunch of crooked, lying, evil bastards they both are. Both faces of the one ruling class talk about how any vote for a third party is a “wasted vote.” So if you must vote, write in Ron Paul. (Personally, I think “wasted vote” is redundant.) McCain and Obama both want you disarmed. So go buy a gun and lots of ammo. McCain and Obama want people watching the mainstream statist propaganda mouthpieces. So turn off your TV, and browse the Internet. McCain and Obama want the public to think nationalist socialism (Republican) and socialist nationalism (Democrat) are the only two political philosophies around. So go make all your friends read “Our Enemy, the State” (Albert Jay Nock) or “The Law” (Frederic Bastiat), or “No Treason: The Constitution of No Authority” (Lysander Spooner), or any number of other libertarian and/or anarchist books. Yeah, I know it’s tough, if not impossible, but if you want to make a difference, see if you can actually make a few people THINK.

Great article. I’m so tired of these two guys and in fact parties that I might just vote for Nader for the hell of it. I really think the Independance Party would come together and become nationally known. I’m going to start spreading the word to educate yourself and look past all the lies both these two parties throw out.

Mr. Rose - what a great Scottish name. Too bad the man who goes along with this great Scottish name apparently has a “war-mongering, collectivist, god-complex.” I like Ron Paul - why didn’t he fight harder? Are we blaming John McCain for seeking the office of President simply because Ron Paul dropped out of the race?

I pray Hussein Obama loses this election. Somehow, even though John McCain might not be the BEST candidate for this high office, he is the best of what has been presented to us. Do you have a better idea? Your idea of NOT voting is insane.

[...] Identical tyrant twins This is a good article! Some here here at PF realize that there is no real difference between the two major parties and some don’t. This article is geared towards those who think there is actually a difference between the two parties. The author tells it like it is and does an excellent job.
