Another trip to a midwestern city I haven’t seen in more than 25 years. Kansas City barbeque is everything as advertised, very pleasant for a visit but I am glad to be back in eastern NC where sugar is not an essential ingredient. The KC Airport Marriott offered some of the very best service I have ever encountered at a hotel, and our room had a backdoor which opened onto a small lake. They must’ve known the rednecks were coming, should’ve brought my fishing pole. One other hotel note, the Super 8 in Wentzville MO has the best shower I have taken in years. Highly recommended!

Table of Contents:

1) Zero Dues passes

2) FEC compliance

3) APRC reinstated and Exit Strategy response

4) Executive Directors Past and Future

5) Personnel matters

6) Finances and how we get them

7) Miscellaneous

Why I won’t be going to Crawford

I once wrote a silly, stupid little column called “A Nanny Is Better Than a Nazi,” in which I had the temerity to suggest that the Republicans were worse than the Democrats. (Based on the current administration, of course.)
